In term limits

I BELIEVE in term limits for elected officials. Setting term limits to two (2) six year terms for the Senate and Four (4) two year terms for the House would eliminate much of the problems that develop from politics as a profession. It would also take away the incentive for those who seek to establish positions of power for personal benefit. Term limits would weaken the growing stranglehold that lobbyist hold over entrenched legislators and create a continuous flow of fresh ideas and solutions. Term limits would encourage common citizens to become involved in the political process and draw those who desire to serve their country.
