I BELIEVE in a five year plan to eliminate the national debt. Scripture tells us that ” . . . the borrower is a servant to the lender”. (Prov. 22:7) Certainly we are seeing the reality of this come to pass in our nation. As it goes for the individual so it goes for the nation. It’s hard to tell these days who is following who in this matter. Our national debt must be reduced and then eliminated. Right now stopping Cap and Trade legislation from passing is a critical issue in this process. Here are a few policies that would help immediately.

A.Take away the Congressional credit card. Stop the spending and that will solve much of our growing debt problem.
B.Collect on debts owed to us wherever possible. If not in cash in commodities and resources that can be sold on the open market and the money spent directly to reduce the debt; primarily oil, gas and agricultural products.
C.Give the incentive of a reduced total if payment can be received now.
D.Renegotiate our current debt with other nations
E.Stabilize the trade imbalance with China and establish a set percentage that would curb the devaluation of currencies that is destroying the dollar and plundering our own economic production structures.
F.Tap our own oil resources and find more immediately for sale here and to other countries.
