In a balanced budget

  1. I BELIEVE in a balanced budget for our nation’s government. Because of unchecked and wasteful spending, unwise planning and imprudent use of legislative powers our nation is on the verge of economic catastrophe. It will take determined and well thought out action by the Legislative and Administrative branches of the Federal Government to stop the increasing deficit from growing beyond repair. Private Interest Groups have lobbied our Congress into imprudence and gluttonous spending through pork barrel projects and chits that have in effect turned our Legislators into nothing more then ‘prostitutes’ for big business and foreign interests. The most effective way to put an end to this catastrophe includes the following:

A. We must return to the Spiritual roots of our Founding Fathers. Deuteronomy 28:43-44 warns us of the fruit of turning our back on the Lord as a nation: “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. “

B. Create incentives for rebuilding our nation as a Producer rather than a Consumer society. If we continue outsource our production to other nations we also sell our prosperity and freedoms in the process.

C. Authorize the exploration for and use of oil reserves that are currently available within our own boundaries and wean America of a dependence upon foreign oil.

D. Encourage a volunteer policy of frugality and saving from the American people and a return to basic household values that create a healthy economic environment. Discourage excessive use of credit.

E. Limit the authority of the EPA and other such agencies which hinder the growth of domestic production and agriculture in favor of non-authenticated science and international programs developed by the United Nations to penalize the United States for her prosperity and ingenuity.
