The Difference Between Marco Rubio and Bernie DeCastro

Marco Rubio and I are two conservatives running for the same U.S. Senate seat. I have repeatedly been asked, “What is the difference between you and Rubio?” Here is my answer.

  • Marco Rubio is 38 years old and I am 65. For the past 20 years of Marco Rubio’s adult life most of it has been spent as a student, a lawyer or a professional politician.
  • I am an entrepreneur and business man and for the past 20 years of my life I have developed a business which created over fifty jobs and put over 10 million dollars into Florida’s economy. I have dedicated the past 25 years to personally helping thousands of men and women caught in the vicious cycle of addiction, crime, incarceration and recidivism (including their families).
  • Marco Rubio takes special interest Money and Bernie DeCastro refuses to take special interest money.

    What is your domparison of candidate Alexander Snitker who is also running for the Senate?

    Alex is a friend and I consider him a good man. We agree on most issues. One difference is that I do not believe abortion is a State’s rights issue. The right to life is guaranteed to us by the U.S. Constitution.
